There is a legend at the bottom of the article to help explain the abbreviations

The legend at the bottom doesn’t help the first two members questions, fyi.

  • ekselan

Yea also a bit confused on the DvA stat, I haven’t seen that column in here before and the definition isn’t included in the Legend … I had assumed maybe it was just supposed to be DvP but I’ve never seen that presented as a percentage before … maybe a stupid question haha but any clarification would be appreciated

  • RP1507

DvA Defense vs. Position Archetype of the opposing team. A lower number is better for the offense. DVA of the opposing team, expressed as a percentage above or below league average allowed. A higher number is better.

DRPM – Defensive Real Plus-Minus (basically a defensive grade for each player) – The listed DRPM is for the defender of the player listed.

DEFF – I think is Defense efficiency as a whole?? Not just the player guarding them

  • Zex2001

DRPM (Defensive Real Plus Minus): Player’s estimated on-court impact on team defensive performance, measured in points allowed per 100 defensive possessions. RPM: Player’s estimated on-court impact on team performance, measured in net point differential per 100 offensive and defensive possessions.

  • Zex2001

DEFF (Defensive Efficiency): The number of points a team allows per 100 opposing team possessions. Defensive Efficiency Fomula=100*(Points Allowed/Possessions) In a game; “defensive efficiency” of a team equals to, “offensive efficiency” of the opponent team as well.
