Dallas at Phoenix
- Vegas Line – Dallas -1, 210.5 Over/Under
- Dallas Proj. Starters – Calderon-Ellis-Marion-Nowitzki-Dalembert
- Phoenix Proj. Starters – Dragic-Green-Tucker-Frye-Plumlee
Dallas
Last two games of the night feature 4 very high scoring teams. The total for this game is set at 210 which is one of the highest of the night. The Suns have only defended one position well and that just so happens to be the positions of Monta Ellis. I think he is safe to avoid in all leagues tonight. Dirk Nowtizki makes a decent play tonight, but it’s hard not to pay a little extra and take someone like Melo, Love, or Griffin.
- Shawn Marion – Marion was back in the lineup last game and wasn’t restricted to any kind of minutes limit. He played 33 minutes in that game and I expect him to see similar minutes tonight. His price is incredibly cheap on a few sites and I think he makes a great play against his former team.
Phoenix
The Suns will be without Eric Bledsoe again tonight so continue to use both Dragic and Green. The Mavs have been very average defensively this season. In fact, they rank between 16th and 18th against every position on the floor. I like Miles Plumlee as a sleeper pick tonight, he is averaging over 30 FP’s per game at home this season.
- Goran Dragic – You know the deal with Dragic. Nice upside, huge minutes, and a nice floor. Keep taking him until Bledsoe comes back.
- Gerald Green – I was really high on Green the other night against the Lakers and he bounced out of his slump just like I thought he would. He has another great matchup tonight against the Mavericks. Monta Ellis will be defending him and Green has to have at least a 6-inch height advantage. The Suns will look to exploit this mis-match all game.
Golden State at Oklahoma City
- Vegas Line – No Lines Set for This Game Yet
- Golden State Proj. Starters – Curry-Thompson-Iguodala-Lee-Bogut
- Oklahoma City Proj. Starters – Jackson-Sefolosha-Durant-Ibaka-Perkins
Golden State
Vegas has the Thunder favored by 1 point and the total set at 206 points. Both of which are great to see from a fantasy point of view. A close, high scoring game is always good for DFS. The Thunder have defended the SF and Center positions very well this season and I will be avoiding the likes of Iguodala and Bogut because of it. The rest of the starters are in play though.
- Stephen Curry – Curry has a solid matchup against Jackson who has really struggled defensively over the last couple of weeks. He should be able to get a shot off whenever he wants it and I think this is one of those games where he fills up the stat sheet. Jackson is also very turnover prone and I could see Curry getting 4+ steals.
- David Lee – Ibaka is a great shot blocker, but he is a weak side defender. He does not have great pick and roll defense and I expect the Warriors to use that to their advantage with Curry and Lee. Lee makes a great cash game play.
Oklahoma City
The Thunder are playing in a back to back situation, but when you have Kevin Durant on your team, you have a good shot of winning any game. The Warriors have been excellent at defending SF’s this season, but Durant is just too good. Good offense beats good defense and I have Durant as my top overall fantasy option tonight. In addition to Durant, I really like Reggie Jackson, he has been playing well over the last few games.
