NBA Lineup Monday

FSL – 10 Man – 260 Point Cap

Tonight it’s all about CP3 vs. D-Wade and LeBron in the NBA. The Hornets started out with one of the best records in the NBA, but have since fallen to 14-9. Meanwhile the Heat were chastised for losing 4 games early-on, but have since found their groove and improved to 17-8. In fantasy land, it’s all about the Jazz vs. the Warriors, who are back to their old ways of throwing defense out the window. They are 28th in the league in points allowed and will be missing Steph Curry for tonight’s game, making the Jazz’s usual suspects (and even CJ Miles) viable candidates, and making Deron-Will an elite pick tonight.

The battle of the Centers goes down tonight in Hibbert vs. Noah, when Indiana heads to Chicago. Indiana’s only 12th in the league in points allowed this season, and they’re no longer a great matchup play. Portland takes on Memphis, where Wesley Matthews has been this season’s latest value must-pick almost every time he plays. He continues to thrive in his new starting role and has been one the big surprises this season. Finally we have Dirk Daddy taking on the Thunder from Down-Under: Andrew Bogut. The Mavs have been on fire lately, but Bogut has been more impressive. Rebounding from losing an arm last season and numerous issues so far this season, he’s been domination opponents over the last week averaging over: 17-15-2-1-4. Wow.

Pos. Name Rank Notes
PG Deron Williams 36 pts Too good, with too good of a matchup (GSW) and situation (Curry out).
PG Andre Miller 26 pts Great value price to balance lineup.
S.G. Wesley Matthews 19 pts Been putting up 28.5 PPG over last 7 for just 19.
S.G. Monta Ellis 36 pts As long as Steph Curry is out, and even when he’s not, Monta is an elite option.
PF Dirk Nowitzki 35 pts One of the most consistent 30+ options in the NBA, for this year, and the last 6 years.
PF Zach Randolph 30 pts Randolph is back in the double-double domination zone
SF Andrei Kirilenko 22 pts AK is my 10 man gamble pick. He’s inconsistent, but with huge upside, and has a great matchup (GSW).
SF Dorell Wright 26 pts He’s been a huge surprise this season. With Steph Curry out, he’ll be expected to pick up the slack.
C Andrew Bogut 30 pts Mr. Bogato has been en fuego lately, almost looking better than he did before his devastating arm injury last season.
Points Used: 260
FSL Cap: 260
