The NBA has 9 games on tap to begin the weekend, including an ESPN doubleheader, beginning with the Raptors against the Magic at 7:30 p.m. ET, followed by the Pistons against the Warriors to round out this evening’s slate.
It’s another busy day for the NBA injury report, with Michael Porter Jr., Jaylen Brown, Evan Mobley, Devin Booker, and Lauri Markkanen among the big names who have already been ruled out for Friday.
As always, be sure to use tools like CourtIQ and our NBA starting lineups page to evaluate how injuries impact usage and to search for inefficiencies in the player prop and DFS markets.

Best NBA Player Props for Friday, January 30th
Here are my top player prop bets for today, with tip-off scheduled for 7:00 PM ET on Friday, January 30th:
- Sam Hauser Over/Under 11.5 Points
- Ace Bailey Over/Under 4.5 Rebounds
- Donovan Mitchell Over/Under 29.5 Points
Sam Hauser OVER 11.5 Points (-108, DraftKings)
According to CourtIQ, Hauser is averaging 13.2 points per 36 minutes this season with Jaylen Brown off of the floor. Tonight, Hauser should see plenty of playing time in a great matchup against a Sacramento team that has the league’s worst defensive rating in road contests this year. If Hauser is reasonably efficient shooting the basketball, he should be able to clear this number.
Ace Bailey OVER 4.5 Rebounds (+115, BetMGM)
According to CourtIQ, Bailey is averaging 5.2 rebounds per 36 minutes this season with both Lauri Markkanen and Jusuf Nurkic off of the floor. In 4 games with both players inactive, Bailey has yet to record fewer than 7 rebound chances. In his most recent such game, Bailey had 8 rebounds in 37 minutes against the Mavericks.
Bailey should see plenty of playing time once again this evening. At plus money, this is good value.
Donovan Mitchell OVER 29.5 Points (-120, Hard Rock)
According to CourtIQ, Mitchell is averaging 39.3 points per 36 minutes this season with both Darius Garland and Evan Mobley off of the floor. Mitchell scored 32 points in his lone road contest with Mobley unavailable and has scored at least 31 points in 5 of 9 games with Garland inactive.
Phoenix isn’t an ideal matchup for Mitchell to get up 25 shots, but the Suns have struggled to defend without fouling since Devin Booker last played, which could help Mitchell accumulate points in other ways. This is still a very playable number for one of the league’s best scorers.
