There are a number of notable names on the NBA injury report to begin the weekend, including Brandon Ingram, Trey Murphy, Kawhi Leonard, and Jamal Murray – all of whom are listed as questionable as of this writing.

Best NBA Player Props for Friday, January 9th
Here are my top player prop bets for today, with tip-off scheduled for 7:00 PM ET on Friday, January 9th:
- Deandre Ayton Over/Under 11.5 Points
- Steven Adams Over/Under 9.5 Rebounds
- OG Anunoby Over/Under 7.5 Assists
Deandre Ayton OVER 11.5 Points (-120, bet365)
BET365Ayton has played 5 games without Austin Reaves and Rui Hachimura active this season, and only once has he attempted fewer than 8 field goals. The Bucks are not particularly good defending around the rim, which makes this a favorable matchup for Ayton to start the weekend.
If Ayton sees roughly 30 minutes in this one, he should be able to flirt with 15 points.
Steven Adams OVER 9.5 Rebounds (+115, BetMGM)
BETMGMIn Adams’ last 2 games with Alperen Sengun inactive, he’s posted 11 rebounds on 20 rebound chances and 11 rebounds on 19 rebound chances. Tonight, he draws a favorable matchup against Portland, a team that ranks 18th in rebounds allowed to the center position during their last 8 contests.
Assuming Adams sees close to 30 minutes again on Friday, this is good value at plus money.
OG Anunoby OVER 7.5 Rebounds + Assists (+112, FanDuel)
FANDUELThe market is offering a nice buy-low spot on Anunoby this evening following consecutive games in which he has struggled to make an all-around impact in the box score. Anunoby had only 2 rebounds on Monday against the Pistons and only 3 rebounds on Wednesday against the Clippers, but he had 7+ rebound chances in both of those contests.
Overall, in 9 games with Josh Hart out of the lineup this year, Anunoby has recorded 6+ rebounds 6 times. Only twice did he have fewer than 11 rebound chances.
According to our RotoGrinders CourtIQ tool, Anunoby is also averaging 2.5 assists per 36 minutes with Hart off of the floor this season, making this a worthwhile inclusion to get plus-money odds on the combo player prop.
