Monday’s 9-game NBA holiday slate has 4 nationally-televised games on Peacock, which began earlier this afternoon. The evening slate still has 4 games left to get underway as of this writing, which means plenty of betting opportunities still on the board!
Tonight’s NBA injury report is busy as usual, with players like Kawhi Leonard and Tyler Herro already ruled out. Joel Embiid and Paul George are both questionable as of this writing.
As always, be sure to use tools like CourtIQ and our NBA starting lineups page to evaluate how injuries impact usage and to search for inefficiencies in the player prop and DFS markets.

Best NBA Player Props for Monday, January 19th
Here are my top player prop bets for today, with tip-off scheduled for 7:00 PM ET on Monday, January 19th:
- Cade Cunningham Over/Under 9.5 Assists
- Pelle Larsson Over/Under 2.5 Assists
- Brandin Podziemski Over/Under 4.5 Rebounds
Cade Cunningham OVER 9.5 Assists (-111, FanDuel)
Cunningham has established himself as one of the league’s best shot creators, averaging 9.6 assists per game this year, 2nd only to Nikola Jokic. Cunningham has been particularly effective at home, clearing this number in 10 of his last 14 games.
Tonight, he will get to face a Boston defense that has permitted the 2nd-most assists per game to guards in their last 8 games. Cunningham should have a good chance to collect another double-double.
Pelle Larsson OVER 2.5 Assists (-145, bet365)
Larsson has consistently seen his role as a facilitator expand when Tyler Herro is not available this season. In his last 20 games with Herro out, Larsson has cleared this number 15 times. Golden State has allowed the 9th-most assists per game to opposing guards in their last 8 contests. There is some value on the over.
Brandin Podziemski OVER 4.5 Rebounds (-106, FanDuel)
Since December 22, Podziemski is averaging 4.8 rebounds and 8 rebound chances per game at home. During that span, he’s had 4+ rebounds in 9 of 10 home contests.
Tonight, he gets to face a Miami team that has allowed the 2nd-most rebounds per game during their last 8 games. There should be a good number of opportunities for Podziemski on the boards in this matchup.
