NBA Player Props Today – Monday, January 20, 2025

Stephen Curry UNDER 24.5 Points (-115, DraftKings)

Stephen Curry enters play having scored 26+ points in 3 consecutive games, but he is still averaging only 23.0 points per game overall this season. Curry, now 36 years old, has started to show some signs of age-related decline and simply cannot be relied upon on a nightly basis to flirt with 30 points anymore.

He has a tough matchup against a Boston team that ranks 5th in defensive rating for the season and 7th in defensive rating across their last 8 games. Curry could struggle in this spot.

Jarrett Allen OVER 10.5 Rebounds (-130, DraftKings)

Evan Mobley has been ruled out for today’s action, which should lead to Jarrett Allen being significantly more involved for the Cavaliers on the glass. According to RotoGrinders CourtIQ, Allen is averaging 13.1 rebounds per 36 minutes this season with Mobley off of the floor. Phoenix has also struggled to keep opposing centers off of the boards in recent weeks, allowing 21 rebounds to Onyeka Okongwu and 16 rebounds to Mark Williams as two recent examples from the last 7 days alone. Allen is well-positioned for a strong performance on Monday.

Georges Niang OVER 13.5 Points + Rebounds (-125, DraftKings)

In 3 games played with Evan Mobley inactive this season, Georges Niang has posted 22 points + rebounds + assists (PRA), 16 PRA, and 26 PRA, respectively. In those games, he’s never played fewer than 22 minutes, attempted fewer than 7 field goals, or had fewer than 10 rebound chances.

According to RotoGrinders CourtIQ, Niang is averaging 12.0 points and 4.3 rebounds per 24 minutes this season with Mobley off of the floor. The math favors the over here.
