NBA Player Props Today – Tuesday, April 8, 2025
- Ty Jerome Over/Under 14.5 Points
- Franz Wagner Over/Under 6.5 Rebounds
- Jose Alvarado Over/Under 6.5 Assists
Ty Jerome OVER 14.5 Points (-125, DraftKings)
There are quite a few indicators suggesting that the Cavaliers are chiefly concerned with getting ready for the playoffs. They have been giving their starters rest days down the stretch. Jarrett Allen didn’t want a rest day, but agreed to reduced minutes in certain spots.
Tonight, Cleveland has already ruled out Donovan Mitchell. That should all but guarantee Ty Jerome 20+ minutes of playing time, if not more. Jerome has twice played 30+ minutes in games that Mitchell has sat this year. Chicago is an average defensive team that plays at an extremely quick pace. If Jerome sees 20+ minutes this evening, he should have a great opportunity to make an impact on the offensive end of the floor.
Franz Wagner UNDER 6.5 Rebounds (-145, DraftKings)
Atlanta has been allowing a lot of rebounds to opposing forwards since the All-Star break, but this is still a tall number for Wagner. This season, Wagner has gone under this number in 24 of 38 games in which Paolo Banchero has played. Since Banchero returned to the floor in early January, Wagner is averaging only 5.7 rebounds on 9.8 rebound chances per game. Entering play on Tuesday, Wagner has recorded 10 rebound chances or fewer in 4 of his last 5 games. The math favors the under.
Jose Alvarado UNDER 6.5 Assists (-155, BetMGM)
There are a lot of names on the injury report tonight for New Orleans, but this is still a big number for Alvarado. Since the All-Star break, the Nets have allowed the 4th-fewest potential assists per game to guards. In 5 games this season with CJ McCollum, Trey Murphy, and Jordan Hawkins unavailable, Alvarado has still only gone over this number once. The under has some value.
