NBA Player Props Today – Tuesday, February 11, 2025

Ja Morant OVER 21.5 Points (-113, FanDuel)

Phoenix has been among the worst defensive teams in the entire NBA of late, ranking 26th in points allowed per 100 possessions across their last 8 contests. During that span, they have allowed 30 points to Jamal Murray and 50 points to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, highlighting their struggles containing opposing point guards. Morant had only 16 points in his most recent game against the Thunder, but he still took 19 shots and played 36 minutes. Assuming he sees a relatively similar workload on Tuesday, he should have every opportunity to get the job done. His alternate lines could be worth a look too if bettors are looking for a little bit of extra potential payout.

Josh Giddey UNDER 14.5 Points (-125, DraftKings)

This is a tall number for Giddey. Entering play on Tuesday, he’s only scored 15+ points in 6 of 21 games that Lonzo Ball has missed. Tonight, he will have to contend with a Detroit team that has been close to the league average defensively in recent weeks, meaning that this isn’t a particularly favorable matchup. Giddey has gone under this number in 16 of 25 home games overall this season; the under is worthy of consideration.

Tyrese Maxey UNDER 29.5 Points (-120, Bet365)

Joel Embiid is officially listed as questionable ahead of tip-off this evening, but he appears to be trending toward suiting up. If he’s on the floor, that could mean a dip in usage for Maxey. This season, Maxey is averaging only 22.0 points per 36 minutes with both Embiid and Paul George on the floor, per RotoGrinders CourtIQ. In 12 games played with both Embiid and George active, Maxey has only scored 30+ points 4 times, including only 1 time in 3 home contests. Toronto ranks inside the top 10 in defensive rating across their last 8 contests, making this a tough spot for Maxey from an offensive standpoint.
