NBA Player Props Today – Wednesday, February 26, 2025
- Tyrese Maxey Over/Under 6.5 Assists
- Derrick White Over/Under 16.5 Points
- Payton Pritchard Over/Under 13.5 Points
Tyrese Maxey UNDER 6.5 Assists (-145, DraftKings)
Maxey has gone under this number in 10 of 17 games this season in which Joel Embiid has been inactive and Paul George has played. Maxey has also gone under this number in 6 of 10 such road games.
Tonight, Maxey and the 76ers draw a difficult road matchup against the Knicks, who are likely to be at full strength on Wednesday. Maxey has had 10 potential assists or fewer in 4 of his last 5 games with Embiid out of the lineup. It could be difficult for him to get to 7+ assists missing his co-star.
Derrick White UNDER 16.5 Points (-106, Bally)
Jaylen Brown and Kristaps Porzingis are officially listed as questionable for this evening’s action against the Pistons, which admittedly complicates things a little bit. That being said, Brown and Porzingis both have points props currently available at multiple sportsbooks, which is often a sign that those players are going to suit up.
If Brown and Porzingis are both on the court tonight, this number is simply too high for White. In 25 games played with Brown and Porzingis active, he has scored fewer than 17 points 16 times, including 9 times in 13 road contests.
Detroit’s defense has allowed the 5th-fewest points per 100 possessions across their last 8 contests, making this a tough matchup for White as well. Bettors may want to wait for clarity on the injury report, but this has good value if Boston is at full strength on Wednesday.
Payton Pritchard UNDER 13.5 Points (-115, bet365)
Similar to the analysis above on Derrick White, Boston’s uncertain injury report makes this a bit of a speculative play.
Pritchard has played 26 games with Jaylen Brown and Kristaps Porzingis active this season, going under this number in 14 of those games, including 8 of 13 road contests. Detroit has been a brutal matchup for opposing guards of late, allowing the 9th-lowest field goal percentage to the position across their last 8 contests.
Pritchard has struggled on the road of late in general, scoring fewer than 10 points in 11 of his last 17 such games. The under could have some value, but bettors may want to wait until there is further clarification on the status of Boston’s stars before locking any wagers.
