NBA Player Props Today – Wednesday, January 29, 2025

Miles Bridges OVER 22.5 Points (-129, Bally)

Tonight, the Hornets will be without LaMelo Ball, Brandon Miller, Mark Williams, and a number of other role players. This season, Bridges is averaging 27.9 points per 36 minutes with Ball, Miller, and Williams off of the floor, per CourtIQ.

Bridges has a favorable matchup on tap as well, facing a Brooklyn team that ranks 22nd in defensive rating across their last 8 games. Efficiency is always a risk when betting on Bridges, but he should have plenty of volume, making this a very playable number.

Tyrese Maxey UNDER 42.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-110, Bally)

Maxey exploded for 43 points last night against the Lakers, but much of his damage came with Bronny James guarding him – someone who had not logged more than 5 minutes in any NBA game prior to yesterday. On the season, Maxey is averaging only 26.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 6.7 assists with Joel Embiid, Paul George, and Andre Drummond off of the floor, per CourtIQ. The math favors the under, even against a Sacramento defense that has had their troubles of late.

Russell Westbrook OVER 4.5 Rebounds (-140, DraftKings)

Westbrook enters play averaging 5 rebounds per game for the season, including 6 rebounds per game in January. Tonight, he gets a favorable matchup against a New York team that has allowed the 4th-most rebounds per game to guards across their last 8 games. Since December 22nd, Westbrook has recorded 5+ rebounds in 16 of 21 games. This is good value for him to continue making an impact on the glass for the Nuggets.
