NBA Player Props Today – Wednesday, March 19, 2025

Devin Vassell OVER 17.5 Points (-120, bet365)

Since the All-Star break, Vassell is averaging 16.6 points and taking the 2nd-most shot attempts per game for the Spurs. He’s been particularly good since the calendar flipped to March, averaging 19.6 points per game. Entering play this evening, Vassell has played 31+ minutes in each of his last 10 games. This season, he’s scored 18+ points in 5 of 8 home games in which he’s played 30+ minutes, including 4 of his last 5 such games. The math favors the over.

Paolo Banchero UNDER 26.5 Points (-120, DraftKings)

Banchero has been on a scoring tear in recent weeks, averaging 30.6 points across his last 10 games. Still, even during his recent hot streak, he’s only gone over this number in 6 of 10 games. This evening, he will have to contend with a Houston team that ranks 4th in the NBA in defensive rating across their last 8 games. Both of these teams like to play at a slow pace as well, which could work to limit the total number of possessions in this matchup.

Banchero has struggled with his efficiency against better defenses this month, shooting 27.3% against Cleveland, 43.5% against Houston, and 33.3% against Chicago. It wouldn’t be surprising to see more of the same from him on Wednesday.

Austin Reaves OVER 4.5 Rebounds (-129, Bally)

Since LeBron James last played on March 8, Austin Reaves has taken a more active role in the rebounding efforts for the Lakers. In 5 games since James’ injury, Reaves has 4 games with 7+ rebounds. More importantly, he’s had 13+ rebound chances in each of those contests, indicating that he’s been consistently active on the glass of late. Tonight, Reaves will face the Nuggets – a team that ranks near the league average in rebounds allowed to guards across their last 8 games. This is a very playable number, with alt-numbers in play here as well for bettors looking for a little extra potential return.
