NBA Underdog Fantasy Player Predictions for Friday (1/10)

Brown of the Celtics

I’m here to give you a (free!) peek behind the curtain regarding some of the awesome things our NBA DFS projections team is cooking up by giving you my top picks for today’s NBA slate on Underdog Fantasy.

Every single pick you will find below is going to be based on what our projections say is a meaningful edge. Please keep in mind that the NBA news cycle can get crazy, so what is listed below may become a better/worse play depending on how that news breaks. You can always stay up to date on exactly what a team’s rotation and depth chart will look like on a given day by heading to our NBA starting lineups page.

We have 7 games on the schedule as the NBA is set to tip off on 1/10. Below, I’ll detail how I’m approaching things on Underdog this Friday evening.

If you want to play along but haven’t signed up yet, grab a special offer with our Underdog promo code “GRINDERS” to unlock up to $1000 Bonus Cash courtesy of a generous deposit match. Underdog Fantasy – one of the most popular DFS pick’em sites – provides player projections for NBA matchups each day. The ball is then in our court to decide whether a player will ultimately exceed or fall short of those projections in the games. With a huge roster of players available from which to choose, we just need to make a minimum of two picks to build an entry.

I’ll break down the board by looking at factors like usage rates, projected pace, lines in the sports betting market, and of course, our RotoGrinders projections to forecast how NBA players might fare in categories like points, rebounds, and assists. Underdog Fantasy Top NBA Picks for 1/10

Now that you’re signed up, here are some of our top NBA picks on Underdog for 1/10 at a glance:

Bucks vs. Magic NBA Underdog Fantasy Predictions

Here are the Bucks vs. Magic NBA Underdog Fantasy predictions for tonight:

Brook Lopez Higher Than 0.5 Assists

Averaging 1.6 assists per game this season, he is more than capable of exceeding this mark. As a key part of Milwaukee’s system, Lopez often creates opportunities for teammates from the post or perimeter, especially alongside stars like Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard. His consistent role and offensive involvement make him a great candidate to surpass 0.5 assists in tonight’s matchup.

Nets vs. Nuggets NBA PrizePicks Predictions

Here are the Nets vs. Nuggets NBA PrizePicks predictions for tonight:

Ziaire Williams Lower Than 13.5 Points

Over his last 25 games, he has averaged just 9.2 points and has surpassed 13.5 points in only 20% of those contests. RotoGrinders further supports this pick with a 4.41% edge and a 62.15% hit rate (even with the Cameron Johnson injury) for Williams scoring less than 13.5 points. His recent trends and statistical consistency make this a reliable choice for tonight’s game, as he has consistently fallen short of this scoring mark throughout the season.

Kings vs. Celtics NBA Underdog Fantasy Predictions

Here are the Kings vs. Celtics NBA Underdog Fantasy predictions for tonight:

Jaylen Brown More Than 4.5 Rebounds

Brown achieving higher than 4.5 rebounds tonight is a solid pick due to his consistent rebounding and favorable matchup. Brown is averaging 6.0 rebounds per game this season and has maintained a strong 5.8 average over his last 5 games. Facing the Sacramento Kings, who rank 14th in rebounds allowed, Brown is well-positioned to capitalize on his size and athleticism to grab boards. His consistent rebounding performance and the Kings’ defensive tendencies make this a strong choice for tonight’s game.
