NBA Underdog Fantasy Player Predictions for Monday (2/3)

Plumlee of the Magic

I’m here to give you a (free!) peek behind the curtain regarding some of the awesome things our NBA DFS projections team is cooking up by giving you my top picks for today’s NBA slate on Underdog Fantasy.

Every single pick you will find below is going to be based on what our projections say is a meaningful edge.

Please keep in mind that the NBA news cycle can get crazy, so what is listed below may become a better/worse play depending on how that news breaks. You can always stay up to date on exactly what a team’s rotation and depth chart will look like on a given day by heading to our NBA starting lineups page.

We have 10 games on the schedule as the NBA is set to tip off on 2/3. Below, I’ll detail how I’m approaching things on Underdog this Monday evening.

If you want to play along but haven’t signed up yet, grab a special offer with our Underdog promo “GRINDERS” to unlock up to $1000 Bonus Cash courtesy of a generous deposit match. Underdog Fantasy – one of the most popular DFS pick’em sites – provides player projections for NBA matchups each day. The ball is then in our court to decide whether a player will ultimately exceed or fall short of those projections in the games. With a huge roster of players available from which to choose, we just need to make a minimum of two picks to build an entry.

I’ll break down the board by looking at factors like usage rates, projected pace, lines in the sports betting market, and of course, our RotoGrinders projections to forecast how NBA players might fare in categories like points, rebounds, and assists. Underdog Fantasy Top NBA Picks for 2/3

Now that you’re signed up, here are some of our top NBA picks on Underdog for 2/3 at a glance:

Suns vs. Trail Blazers NBA Underdog Fantasy Predictions

Here are the Suns vs. Trail Blazers NBA Underdog Fantasy predictions for tonight:

Mason Plumlee Lower Than 6.5 Rebounds

His last 10 games show a 5.7-rebound average, aligning with our projection of 5.09 rebounds. Our simulations reveal a 70.3% probability of success with this pick, backed by a 6.8% statistical edge. Plumless has cleared 6.5 rebounds just three times in his last 10 games.

Magic vs. Warriors NBA Underdog Fantasy Predictions

Here are the Magic vs. Warriors NBA Underdog Fantasy predictions for tonight:

Quinten Post Lower Than 8.5 Points + Assists

Our projections of 6.45 align with his recent usage trends, where he’s averaged just 2.9 assists and shown limited scoring upside in a reduced offensive role. Simulations indicate a 65.2% probability of success with this projection, supported by a 7.4% statistical edge. Post’s minutes (projected for 16) and a challenging defensive matchup further suppress his output.

Wendell Carter Jr. Higher Than 16.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

Carter Jr.’s expanded offensive role and favorable matchup create strong potential for exceeding 16.5 combined points, rebounds, and assists tonight. We project him at 19.26 in this category, reflecting his recent averages of 14.9 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 1.9 assists over the last 5 games. Simulations show a 63% success probability with a 5.2% statistical edge.
