Every week will have the top 10 players that have been impacted by injuries for the week. We will also list the injuries team by team that can impact your daily fantasy choices for the week. Keep in mind that most weeks as the season gets rolling the official injury info will be out on Sunday morning before kickoff, be sure to follow @rotogrinders on twitter for the last minute updates. I’ll list the players you will want to be on the look out for “IF” someone ends up officially “OUT” on Sunday morning.

Top 10 Injury Impact:

.Zach Sudfeld- We already know Gronk is out and Hernandez is building an empire behind bars, that leaves Sudfeld as New England’s starting TE this week in a game where they should pile on the points against Buffalo. His salary makes him a great TE punt play, especially on Draftstreet where he is minimum salary.

.David Wilson- I know its weird to see a starter listed here but Andre Brown’s broken leg has given Wilson a nice upgrade as he should see a bit more slack from his old school head coach and goal line carries he potentially would have missed out on if Brown was healthy. Another injury that helps Wilson is Cowboys DT Jay Ratliff is on the PUP list.

.Golden Tate- Percy Harvin injury leaves Golden Tate in a nice spot to grab the WR1 option for Russell Wilson, Sidney Rice also in mix but has recently changed his middle name to “questionable”, he is banged up as well. Tate a nice WR option for Seahawks with Panthers garbage secondary.

.Colts D- Injury to Jared Veldheer, who was the Raiders best offensive lineman, only makes this line and offense even worse. Colts D got even better when Veldheer went down, Raiders could be the worst team in NFL history, I could see them going 0-16 this year, no joke.

.Doug Martin- Why is top RB option Doug Martin listed here? Well the injury that impacts him is top guard Carl Nicks who is likely out against Jets. This should make his running lanes a bit smaller which could hurt his production at the salary you are paying for him, buyer beware.

.Ben Tate- Although Foster is listed as probable and will play, there is little chance he will get full work, expect Tate to get 10-15 carries and against the Chargers 15 carries could lead to 100 yards with a TD. Not a bad value gamble.

.Malcom Floyd- Injured in preseason and thought to be more serious, Floyd is now listed as probable for the Chargers, he could fall back into his #1 WR option for Rivers and this game on Monday night could see some garbage time points for the Chargers late. If you are the type that wants to break your opponents heart with a last game of weekend garbage time TD, toss Floyd into your line up and cause some serious mental pain to your opponents, this play could leave them talking about their bad beat for several days.

.Isaac Redman- Redman is listed as the starter with Le’Veon Bell out but this situation in Pittsburgh with their bad offensive line could become a mess real quick. Dirt cheap if you are looking for a gamble in a GPP. If things go right could get 60 yards with TD.

.DeAngelo Williams- The match up is pretty terrible but with Jonathan Stewart out this week and many weeks after this, slight bump to DeAngelo’s normal value, Cam is still the TD vulture to fear in this situation.

.Frightened Inmate #2- With limited injuries this week Tobias Funke character from Arrested Development makes the list, with Aaron Hernandez joining him in prison, this should become a pretty big impact on his Frightened Inmate #2 role. You don’t mess with Hernandez and Tobias could find that out the hard way.
