What is your favorite game-script build and why?

headChopper: Patriots struggle a bit on offense as Minnesota has a nice bounce back from that embarrassing Cowboys game. The Vikings use all the weapons to move up and down the field.

eys819: A low-scoring affair in which both teams struggle offensively. The Patriots utilize both RBs and use a run-heavy approach, while Jefferson and Cook get big workloads for the Vikings.

squirrelpatrol: I think we could see more offense than the line indicates in this one, and I expect a close game with the Patriots’ pass offense showing surprising life, but the Vikings pull it out in the end.

gneiffer07: This game could go any number of different ways. But with everyone expecting this to be a low-scoring, close, slow game, I kind of like targeting the NE passing attack assuming this game has the Patriots trailing in a dome early.

Which players will you restrict from appearing together often due to possible negative correlation?

headChopper: Patriots RBs will be restricted to only 1 per roster.

eys819: Adam Thielen and T.J. Hockenson. The Vikings are projected for 2-3 touchdowns with a 22.5 team total. I will take the chance these two pass catchers don’t both find the end zone.

squirrelpatrol: I’ll restrict my lineups to one RB from each team.

gneiffer07: Justin Jefferson is going to get his pretty much every single week, but Hockenson and Thielen are two guys who will likely eat into each other’s production. I don’t see many scenarios where both make value. So I’ll restrict them from appearing in lineups together unless I don’t have Jefferson and I have Cousins in a lineup.

What is your favorite way to differentiate from the field?

headChopper: The secondary pass-catching options for Minnesota is how I am going to get different.

eys819: Play both Patriots RBs together and go underweight on Mac Jones and the Patriots pass catchers.

squirrelpatrol: The Minnesota defense gives up the second-most passing yards per game in the NFL, and the Patriots are known to attack their opponent’s weakness. I’ll go overweight on the Patriots pass offense, particularly Mac Jones and Jakobi Meyers.

gneiffer07: Full on Patriots passing attack.

What is an example of one rule you can program into LineupHQ to capitalize on the above strategies?

headChopper: Player Groups – Max Position Player Groups – Create new group – NE RBs (0-1)

eys819: Player Groups > New Group > Add Adam Thielen and T.J. Hockenson > Use 0-1

squirrelpatrol: Set the Mn% over projected ownership for Mac Jones and Jakobi Meyers.

gneiffer07: Player Groups > New Group > Add Adam Thielen, Justin Jefferson, and T.J. Hockenson > Use 1-2

What is your hottest take for this game?

headChopper: The Vikings have multiple 100-yard pass catchers in this game.

eys819: The Patriots slow down the game and pull out the victory with Stevenson and Harris both finding the end zone.

squirrelpatrol: Mac Jones throws for more passing yards than Kirk Cousins.

gneiffer07: TJ Hockenson goes for 100 yards on 10 receptions.

Predict the final score of the game.

headChopper: MIN 27 – NE 19

eys819: NE 23 – MIN 20

squirrelpatrol: MIN 27 – NE 21

gneiffer07: MIN 24 – NE 20
