What is your favorite game-script build and why?
headChopper: Strictly for GPPs, I like a game script of offensive efficiency and big plays leading to a higher-scoring game. I think the defensive/kicking battle will be a popular build, so I want to get different from that.
squirrelpatrol: These two teams have disappointed on offense this year, but I have more confidence that Tom Brady can get things together with Tampa Bay at home and lead them to a decisive win.
gneiffer07: My favorite game script to build is a complete blowout by the Saints. While this isn’t terribly likely, Brady has had some problems against the Saints in the past.
eys819: Tampa Bay dominates and forces New Orleans into a pass-heavy approach. Despite the heavy volume, New Orleans struggles with efficiency and turnovers, and Tampa Bay wins by multiple scores.
Which players will you restrict from appearing together often due to possible negative correlation?
headChopper: No lineups with White and Fournette together.
squirrelpatrol: With two stationary QBs, I’ll make sure that any lineups that have Tom Brady or Andy Dalton in the CPT/MVP spot have at least two receivers from the same team in the FLEX positions.
gneiffer07: Rachaad White and Leonard Fournette. While it is possible for both these backs to make value, it’s pretty unlikely.
eys819: Rachaad White and Leonard Fournette. In the last game they were both active in Week 10, Fournette played just 28% of the snaps and left the game with an injury in the 4th quarter.
What is your favorite way to differentiate from the field?
headChopper: To be different, I think I am going to remove defenses from my player pool and hope for no defensive/special teams’ touchdowns.
squirrelpatrol: I’ll aim to be overweight the two WRs – Chris Godwin and Chris Olave – that I think can break this game open, either with a long TD or piles of receptions.
gneiffer07: Go overweight on the Saints offense. While Vegas has the Bucs as the favorite in this spot, we’ve seen Brady struggle vs the Saints in the past. It won’t surprise me to see a blowout by the Saints here, and I don’t think many people will expect it.
eys819: Fade Fournette completely and go overweight on White, Godwin, Kamara, and Olave.
What is an example of one rule you can program into LineupHQ to capitalize on the above strategies?
headChopper: Player Pool – Defense – “exclude”, “exclude”
squirrelpatrol: Player Groups > New Group > 2 – 4 > Conditional Player Tom Brady (or Andy Dalton) > Add all receivers from the team to the group.
gneiffer07: Player Groups > New Group > Add Leonard Fournette and Rachaad White > Use 0-1
eys819: Player Groups > New Group > Add Leonard Fournette and Rachaad White > Use 0-1
What is your hottest take for this game?
headChopper: Mike Evans breaks his Lattimore curse and goes for 100+ receiving yards.
squirrelpatrol: Every TD in the game is scored by someone named “Chris.”
gneiffer07: Brady throws three interceptions and the Saints blow out the Bucs
eys819: Tom Brady throws for three touchdowns, but none of them go to Evans or Godwin.
Predict the final score of the game.
headChopper: TB 27 – NO 20
squirrelpatrol: TB 24 – NO 14
gneiffer07: NO 20 – TB 13
eys819: TB 30 – NO 13
