NFL DFS DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey: Thursday Night Football Picks
DraftKings
Who are your three favorite Captains, ranked in order?
Notorious: Puka Nacua, Christian McCaffrey, Terrance Ferguson
headChopper: Puka Nacua, Christian McCaffrey, Davante Adams
ncorfield8k: Christian McCaffrey, Puka Nacua, Kyren Williams
Davis Mattek: Puka Nacua, Christian McCaffrey, Kyren Williams
What is the most pivotal correlation (or individual player) when it comes to your portfolio of lineups?
Notorious: My slate is going to hinge on the performance of Terrance Ferguson. The Rams give significant snaps to three different tight ends, so there is certainly some risk here. However, Ferguson saw 11% of the team’s air yards last season, which is pretty massive for a part-time tight end. He’s going to get a deep shot or two downfield in this game. He’s cheap and has significantly more upside than those priced around him. I’m even going to use him in the multiplier spots in a lineup or two.
headChopper: It sounds odd in a game with this type of talent, but it’s Blake Corum. This is for a couple of correlating reasons. First off, I’ll likely be over the field on his ownership. It just feels like more of a split this season or that Corum is simply the better running back right now, so I think he eats into that usage in the backfield. Secondly, more Corum equals less Kyren Williams, and I’ve previously stated I will be underweight on Williams, so I want a minimal game out of him.
ncorfield8k: Kyren Williams, Blake Corum, and Rams D/ST – I like the idea of playing all three together, just in case the Rams are able to take control of the game. It won’t be my most common strategy, but it’s one I like, and not one I think much of the field will try.
Davis Mattek: Terrance Ferguson, who stands out as the best play priced under $6,000. Ferg led NFL tight ends in aDOT last season and has been the talk of Rams training camp. I expect him to finish 3rd on the Rams in receiving yards, receptions, and touchdowns this season. Perhaps Sean McVay is a liar, but I believe him when he compared Ferg to Travis Kelce.
