What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat the field? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
headChopper: I prefer to multi-enter large-field flagship GPPs on this slate. There are 4 games, and each has something appealing from a DFS standpoint, but I’ll be attacking the SF/ARI and SEA/LAR matchups the most. I think Arizona will be able to throw on San Francisco, and with no Marvin Harrison Jr., it opens the door for another receiver to step up. I’ll take some shots on those pass catchers outside of Trey McBride, though I’ll still have my share of him as well.
Stevietpfl: With a 4-game slate, I’m going to focus on small-field contests. I like the 20-max contests for this slate as well. I find it easy to build around the teams I like (ARI, SF, DEN, and LAR). I’m likely going to be underweight on Kansas City and Seattle outside of Jaxon Smith-Njigba. My main stack I’ll be building around will be Jacoby Brissett and at least 1 of his pass catchers.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll play just 1 single-entry contest for the afternoon slate, and I plan to stack up Jacoby Brissett and the Cardinals as much as possible. The 49ers defense is incredibly banged up, and all of Arizona is way too cheap with Marvin Harrison Jr. not suiting up. I’ll be playing Jacoby Brissett triple stacks and filling out the rest of my lineup with expensive pieces like Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
Who’s your favorite contrarian play and why?

About the Author
Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
