NFL DFS DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey (Afternoon Slate): Week 7 Picks
Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?
headChopper: Jahmyr Gibbs
Stevietpfl: Kyren Williams
TJ Zwarych: Puka Nacua
How do you plan to beat the field of opponents in the tournaments you will be playing? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
headChopper: Three games is such a small slate for the NFL, and while I’m typically not a huge fan of game stacking, when you have a slate this small with a game that has so much clear and obvious upside compared to the others, I’m going to stack it as heavily as possible. Green Bay and Detroit are going to dominate my afternoon builds. I’ll mix in defenses and a few lower-owned players from the other teams, but the skill position players from Green Bay and Detroit are going to be littered throughout my lineups. One thing that might separate my approach from the field is taking some chances on the Denver passing game as one-offs. I’m hoping there’s a narrative where they’ve heard enough criticism about their low aDOT and decide to open things up and take some real shots downfield.
Stevietpfl: With a smaller slate and a standout game, I’m going to focus on small-field tournaments. I’m going to be overweight on the GB/DET game. I’ll look for lower-owned one-offs or stacks to pair with this game. I’ll be underweight on the Raiders and Matthew Stafford. To make my GB/DET game stacks different, I’ll be overweight on Amon-Ra St. Brown and underweight on Jahmyr Gibbs.
TJ Zwarych: I plan to stack up both the Packers and Rams, but I’ll do it without Matthew Stafford. I’m still comfortable having 2 or 3 Rams players on my team even without the QB, and I’ll instead roll out Jordan Love with at least two pass catchers. It’s scary, but I’ll be able to play a maximum of one of Jahmyr Gibbs and Amon-Ra St. Brown, but I’ll likely fade both.
Who’s your favorite contrarian play and why?

About the Author
Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
