What is your favorite correlation and why?

Notorious: Matthew Stafford + Puka Nacua – This stack didn’t work as well as I had hoped last week, but the weather in Chicago was brutal, and Kyren Williams ended up getting all of the touchdowns. I don’t expect that to be the case this week against the Seahawks, especially since the weather in Seattle looks pristine. Stafford has already topped 25 fantasy points in 9 games this season, including 34 fantasy points against the Seahawks in their last meeting. With Davante Adams banged up, Nacua has been the clear WR1 for the Rams. He has seen 28 targets in the first 2 playoff games and had a massive 50 fantasy points against the Seahawks earlier this season.

stevietpfl: Puka Nacua + Jaxon Smith-Njigba – With the lack of high-upside running backs on this slate, I want to pair Nacua and Smith-Njigba as much as possible. I think we have enough cheap value to pair them without losing much. I feel like this slate will be decided by the cheap pieces you add with this combo. In Week 16, Nacua went for 225 yards on 12 catches and 2 touchdowns against Seattle. In that same game, Smith-Njigba went for 96 yards on 8 catches and 1 touchdown. These two receivers will be the focal point of these offenses in what should be the higher-scoring game.

Krayton: Matthew Stafford + Puka Nacua + Kenneth Walker III – On just a 2-game slate, Stafford and Nacua are my top pairing by quite a wide margin. This duo is elite. Even though it will be a tough matchup against a very good Seattle defense, Stafford has played and succeeded in big games before, and this combination is the best on the board. On the other side, with Zach Charbonnet out, I also see Walker as a core play. He should absolutely see an elite number of touches and is coming off of a big game against San Francisco, scoring 3 TDs and going for 145 total yards. I will be building around these three players and then looking to add 1-2 options who are projecting for lower ownership to get different.

ebeimfohr: Kenneth Walker III + Seahawks D/ST – This worked out well as my favorite correlation last week, and I’m going back to the well…but for slightly different reasons. Clearly, Walker is the top RB play after Zach Charbonnet tore his ACL last week. He is simply too cheap and totaled 167 rushing yards on 27 carries and 108 receiving yards on 6 targets in the 2 games between these teams in the regular season. The Seahawks’ elite defense should also be able to force the Rams to the air often, both with the top run defense in the league (per EPA/play) and the potential game script. As of Thursday, they project to be the lowest-owned D/ST on the slate, and Matthew Stafford and the Rams passing game did not look to be 100% last week.

ncorfield8k: Matthew Stafford + Puka Nacua + Davante Adams – This trio has been a pretty big disappointment in the playoffs so far, and now they get a terrible matchup with the Seahawks. But the massive upside is still there, and projected ownership is reduced due to the matchup. Nacua and Adams have combined for 45 targets in 2 playoff games.

Davis Mattek: Matthew Stafford + one of Davante Adams or Puka Nacua + Terrance Ferguson + Tyler Higbee – The market expected Higbee to return from the IR and be the leading tight end for the Rams, but that has not happened. Ferg leads the Rams tight ends in route share, aDOT, and expected fantasy points in the postseason, and I still want to include Higbee in the stack for the leverage. The thing that is most interesting about this build is that it should be quite unique and provides massive leverage, even WITH Puka. Kenneth Walker III, Puka, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba project so well and are such chalk that I am trying to get very unique.

Jordan Vanek: Matthew Stafford + Puka Nacua + Davante Adams + Terrance Ferguson + Kenneth Walker III + Jaxon Smith-Njigba – The Rams’ personnel usage has been a major storyline all season, and after the Rams destroyed Seattle in Week 16 with heavy 13-personnel, I expect them to lean into it again. Instead of all of the production funneling solely through Nacua, I think Adams gets more involved, with Ferguson as the true difference-maker. Slot-aligned tight ends have consistently beaten Seattle, and Ferguson has run 65% of his routes from the slot, with a 17-yard aDOT, making him the type of one-play separators that can win tournaments. The bring-backs are simple: Smith-Njigba and Walker, especially with Zach Charbonnet out and Walker likely handling around 80% of the RB touches. If I need to pivot for salary reasons, it would be moving off of JSN to someone like Rashid Shaheed or Cooper Kupp to upgrade the other game, but JSN’s usage versus zone is too strong for me to get away from, and he’s posted 23.6 DK points in each of the games against the Rams this season.

Give a specific example of how you might utilize late swap depending on how the NE/DEN game plays out.
