NFL DFS Showdown Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Monday Night Football

DRAFTKINGS

Who are your three favorite Captains, ranked in order?

Notorious: Josh Allen, Breece Hall, Garrett Wilson
headChopper: Breece Hall, Dalton Kincaid, Josh Allen
ncorfield8k: Josh Allen, Breece Hall, Dalton Kincaid
Davis Mattek: Breece Hall, Josh Allen, Dalton Kincaid

What is your favorite game-script build and why?

Notorious: My favorite game script is the Bills building a big lead through Josh Allen and his interior wideouts (Khalil Shakir and Dalton Kincaid). The Jets are forced to air it out, and most of that production flows through Breece Hall and Garrett Wilson. I also like the idea of this being a low-scoring game where kicking points are more valuable.

headChopper: A run-heavy script from both sides. The Bills, under OC Joe Brady, have leaned heavily on the run, especially in favorable game scripts. They should continue that approach against a Jets defense that forces a low Pass Rate Over Expectation (PROE). James Cook and Josh Allen do the heavy lifting here. On the Jets side, with Todd Downing now calling plays, their offense is expected to focus on Breece Hall (maybe some Braelon Allen) and the rushing attack, particularly given their tough matchup against the Bills secondary. With a low 41-point total, a slower-paced game should put defenses firmly in play here also.

ncorfield8k: I like building for a low-scoring game with few touchdowns. For this type of build, kickers and defenses get a boost, of course. Players who rack up receptions also benefit from low-scoring games in PPR formats, as those points are not dependent on yardage or touchdowns. The biggest loser in a low-scoring game would be Aaron Rodgers, as non-rushing quarterbacks are heavily reliant on touchdowns for scoring fantasy points.

Davis Mattek: I’ve got to be honest, this has the makings of an all-time clunker. The Jets’ “new” play-caller, Todd Downing, is just going to let Aaron Rodgers run the all-hitches, drain-the-clock-to-0 offense. The Bills don’t have an easy-mode button to push on offense, and Joe Brady hates being aggressive against good defenses. Both teams are going to be super conservative and run-heavy if they get their way.

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
