NFL DFS Showdown Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Thursday Night Football

DRAFTKINGS

Who are your three favorite Captains, ranked in order?

Notorious: Dontayvion Wicks, Christian Watson, Jayden Reed
headChopper: Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, Jahmyr Gibbs
ncorfield8k: Jahmyr Gibbs, David Montgomery, Dontayvion Wicks
Davis Mattek: Jahmyr Gibbs, Jayden Reed, Jordan Love

What is your favorite game-script build and why?

Notorious: Based on the matchups and how I am building my lineups, I would love for the game script to go as planned. If the Lions can build a lead early, they will lean on their running game (they have the 3rd-highest rush rate in the NFL). The Packers will be forced to air it out (and might have to anyway against this tough Lions run defense).

headChopper: My favorite game script has the Packers getting payback for last month’s loss to the Lions in Green Bay. I think both teams score plenty of points, but Jordan Love and the Packers’ passing game shine in a controlled environment where weather won’t be a factor. I like Green Bay in a shootout.

ncorfield8k: Both defenses are pretty tough, but I think the offenses win out. Both teams also have some value pass catchers who are projecting for lower ownership, so it’s easy to build for an air raid. I’ll have a lot of the quarterbacks but mix in some of their low-pOWN% pass catchers. As is often the case on Lions Showdown slates, I’ll also make sure to have some lineups with both Jahmyr Gibbs and Montgomery, just in case the Lions decide to keep it on the ground.

Davis Mattek: This is a sneaky big game for the playoff picture. If Detroit loses, they might not get the top seed, considering how easy the Eagles’ schedule is. It also brings into play the chance that Green Bay could win the division (unlikely but not impossible if Detroit loses here). That should tilt both teams to take it a little more seriously (e.g., a positive pass rate). I think we’ll see this game move away from the run and go over its total.
