NFL DFS Showdown Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Saturday Night Football

What is your favorite game-script build and why?

kmurray03: I love the shootout build here. Both defenses have had weaknesses exposed often this season, and with the Lions back in their comfortable home dome, I am expecting a lot of points to be put up here.

TastefulTides: Javonte Williams has really taken over Denver’s backfield, averaging around 20 touches per game in their last games. I do expect that type of usage to continue, so I want to be heavy on Williams in AnyFlex / Flex spots. I may try to captain him in one of my three DK teams. I will be running it back with a heavy dose of the Detroit pass attack. St. Brown, Jameson Williams, and Sam LaPorta will all make my builds.

Bobby Gomes: We have a total sitting at 47 in this one, and the weather will not play a part. The Lions are going to run the football with their two-headed monster behind their elite O-line against a Broncos run defense that is allowing 144 yards per game. The Broncos secondary is ELITE. RW3 is going to lean on Courtland Sutton and the passing game against a middle-of-the-road Lions secondary. A balanced build from both offenses seems safe between two playoff-hungry teams.

TJ Zwarych: The Broncos are much better against the pass than they are the run, and the Lions have recently recommitted themselves to their elite ground game. I expect the Lions to get out to an early lead and ride both of their running backs all game, while the Broncos are forced to pass in catch-up mode.

He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
