NFL DFS Showdown Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Saturday Night Football

What is your favorite game-script build and why?

squirrelpatrol: I’ll be building for a scenario where the weather narrative is overblown and both teams are able to execute their offense fairly normally. I think the Dolphins can pull this game out, particularly if they have Raheem Mostert and Jaylen Waddle back healthy.

headChopper: My favorite game script is that weather affects the game and we see more running than normal from both teams. The short passing game is more in play than the long passing game in this script.

kmurray03: There is going to be a lot of talk about the weather in this game, and while I am sure it’ll be uncomfortable for these players, I like building around more points being scored than the public is expecting. The total still sits at 44.5, so oddsmakers still seem to think both of these teams should be expected to score at least 2 TDs each.

TJ Zwarych: Cold weather doesn’t impact scoring nearly as much as wind and precipitation, so I’m not worried about the offenses in this game. I think both teams lean on the running game heavily and put up points when they get in the red zone. Isiah Pacheco, Tyreek Hill, De’Von Achane, and Raheem Mostert (if he plays) will be my main targets.

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
