What is your favorite game-script build and why?

squirrelpatrol: The Eagles allow the most receptions per game in the NFL and the fewest rushing yards per game, while the Chiefs allow the 4th-fewest passing yards per game but are middle of the pack in rushing defense. My favorite game script is the Eagles score on the ground behind D’Andre Swift and/or Jalen Hurts, and the Chiefs are passing the ball to their stable of wide receivers and tight ends to catch up.

headChopper: I think both offenses will have a lot of success. The Chiefs doing so via the passing game and being very efficient at it. The Eagles will run the ball with D’Andre Swift and Jalen Hurts and have success. They can also eat up yards and points in the passing game if they get behind early.

kmurray03: I love the shootout game script in this one. Both teams have very strong defenses, and the Chiefs have been playing in some low-scoring games lately, but I think the offenses prevail and the over hits.

Bobby Gomes: The Chiefs defense allowed 7.1 yards per carry to Raheem Mostert, and the Eagles have a 130.5 defensive rating against TEs (5 TDs). Furthermore, the Chiefs have allowed the fewest sacks. Balance is the key here in a game I have going under the total. I’ll be overweight on Travis Kelce and D’Andre Swift.

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

squirrelpatrol: I’ll enter the largest-field contests with the goal of being overweight the Eagles rushing game and the Chiefs passing game, pairing my Patrick Mahomes MVP/CPT rosters with multiple cheaper Kansas City pass catchers.

headChopper: Large field, 20-entry max – This gets me away from the 150-max multitude of combinations and lets me have enough entries to do different game scripts. My Eagles run-heavy script is the one I think will be different than most of the field.

kmurray03: Large Field – Using SimLabs to gain an edge on the field, I will be looking to be overweight on non-QBs in the CPT/MVP spot, with prioritization being put on Travis Kelce, DeVonta Smith, and A.J. Brown.

Bobby Gomes: My preferred approach will be MME, per usual. That way, I can touch on all of the fantasy-relevant plays. The Chiefs’ offense has not been what we are accustomed to, which will make me a tad underweight on them and a bit overweight on the Eagles’ offense. I think both defenses are in play, even though many anticipate some kind of shootout.

What is an example of one rule you can program into SimLabs or LineupHQ to capitalize on the above strategies?

squirrelpatrol: LineupHQ > Groups > New Group > Use conditional player Patrick Mahomes MVP/CPT > Use 2 to 3 > Include the cheaper Chiefs WRs and TEs as player in the group

headChopper: LineupHQ > Groups > New Group > Players to use 1-1 > Use conditional player: Jalen Hurts CPT/MVP > correlating player: D’Andre Swift

kmurray03: LineupHQ > Groups > New Group (Travis Kelce CPT/MVP conditional player) > Pair with 1-1 (Patrick Mahomes)

Bobby Gomes: LineupHQ > Player Pool > Set Mn% over projected ownership on Travis Kelce and D’Andre Swift

What is your hottest take for this game?

squirrelpatrol: Patrick Mahomes throws 3 TDs to 3 different receivers, and the Chiefs still lose.

headChopper: Both Jalen Hurts and D’Andre Swift run for 100+ yards.

kmurray03: DeVonta Smith goes for 30 DK points.

Bobby Gomes: Travis Kelce has 3 touchdowns.

Predict the final score of the game.

squirrelpatrol: PHI 24 – KC 21

headChopper: PHI 30 – KC 27

kmurray03: PHI 31 – KC 27

Bobby Gomes: 24 KC – PHI 20
