NFL DFS Showdown Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Monday Night Football

What is your favorite game-script build and why?

squirrelpatrol: I expect the Minnesota passing offense to find success playing at home in the dome against a Bears defense that has allowed the 8th-most passing yards per game and 3rd-most passing touchdowns in the NFL. I’ll be playing plenty of Joshua Dobbs and pairing him with the pass catchers most likely to have success – Jordan Addison, T.J. Hockenson, and Brandon Powell.

headChopper: Both Justin Fields and Joshua Dobbs get cranked up in the running game and have success. Both #1 WRs for each team find holes in the defense in the passing game. This game turns into a semi-shootout. With both of these running games, you typically aren’t going to get much from the running backs. You are looking for the QB runs and scrambles to bolster the rushing yards.

kmurray03: I think this game has a good bit of shootout potential, but I also think the Bears are very live underdogs. So I like the game script of building around a shootout with the Bears offense having a good amount of success.

Bobby Gomes: Both the Bears and Vikings have pretty stout run defenses. The Vikings rank 8th in the league against the run, while the Bears allow the most receiving yards in the league to running backs. This tells me that both Joshua Dobbs and Justin Fields are going to sling the rock. The game total sits at 44.5, suggesting that there will be some points. With a close spread (Vikings -3), it allows me to balance my builds with pass catchers from both sides.

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
