NFL DFS Showdown Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Sunday Night Football
What is your favorite game-script build and why?
squirrelpatrol: The name values and spread in this game heavily favor the Chargers, but I think this is a game that Chicago can keep closer than people expect. The Chargers have allowed the most passing yards per game in the NFL this season (310, more than 10% more than the next-worst team), and Tyson Bagent may be an upgrade for the Chicago passing game.
Notorious: Even if you like the Bears to be competitive or to potentially win this game (I don’t), they are a tough team to target in DFS. They haven’t let Tyson Bagent throw the ball down the field, and their running back room is crowded now that Roschon Johnson is set to return. My favorite game script is the Chargers building a big lead early and they never look back. I like using Cameron Dicker and the Chargers D/ST along with two or three skill players from the Chargers. This build becomes even easier if Gerald Everett and/or Joshua Palmer end up being out.
TastefulTides: I just don’t see how this game stays close despite the single-digit spread. The Chargers have too many skilled offensive players, and the Bears offense just can’t move the ball. I expect a heavy dose of Austin Ekeler on the ground and with screens. That is why my lean is to start with him as my CPT/MVP.
TJ Zwarych: The Chargers are known for playing down to their opponents, but the Bears are just in such a tough position as a tanking team down to their backup QB. I think the Chargers take control early and hold on throughout the game.
