NFL DFS Showdown Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Sunday Night Football
What is your favorite game-script build and why?
squirrelpatrol: Not exactly the matchup the NFL was picturing when they made the schedule, the Zach Wilson and Aidan O’Connell offenses will likely have a hard time putting points on the board. The RBs are the best plays here, and in what will likely be a toss-up game, I like the idea of being overweight Josh Jacobs and the Raiders.
Notorious: This is less of a game script idea and more of a roster construction idea. I can’t remember another Showdown slate where I don’t want to play either quarterback. I will end up having exposure because raw fantasy production matters, but I will not be using Zach Wilson or Aidan O’Connell at MVP or CPT. Additionally, while I could see an onslaught ending up being the optimal route, I have a hard time seeing it happen without the defense creating turnovers and potentially scoring a touchdown. If building a Jets or Raiders onslaught, I like using the defense as part of it.
TastefulTides: I know that kickers are always an obvious value play on pretty much any Showdown slate. Tonight though, I am going to make a concerted effort to be overweight and even put them in my CPT spot. I don’t see a lot of scoring in this game, and looking at the total, oddsmakers agree with me. With that being said, these are two rush-heavy teams, so D/STs don’t necessarily thrill me because sacks and pick-six equity should be lower than usual.
TJ Zwarych: Low-scoring game with lots of defense and kicker points. That may be chalky, but it’s also the likely outcome and allows you to pay up for the clear top options, like Breece Hall and Josh Jacobs.
