NFL DFS Showdown Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Sunday Night Football

What is your favorite game-script build and why?

squirrelpatrol: The Raiders are favored by 3 points here, but I don’t mind playing for a Steelers win in single game contests. Kenny Pickett should show improvement this year as a 2nd-year starting QB- he just may not have been able to show it in the first two weeks of the season facing San Francisco and Cleveland. The Raiders allowed the 4th-most passing yards per game in the NFL last season, and I think the Steelers passing offense looks surprisingly good tonight.

Notorious: My favorite game script is that the Raiders are able to build a lead early on the strength of their running game. The Steelers are 20th in EPA against the run, dead last in yards allowed after contact, and 30th in fantasy points allowed to running backs. I will have a ton of Josh Jacobs. This scenario sets up very well for the Steelers passing attack. I’m most interested in Kenny Pickett, George Pickens, and Pat Freiermuth.

TastefulTides: The Steelers have allowed the most yards per rushing attempt through the first two weeks of the season. I expect a heavy dose of Josh Jacobs early in this game. If that doesn’t amount to scoring, then we should see Davante Adams and his 35% target share take over. Either way, I like the Raiders to win this game, with the Steelers having to be forced to throw the ball at a heavy rate.

TJ Zwarych: I think it will be a slow game, with the Raiders being the better offense but the Steelers having the much stronger defense. I think pressure for the QBs will be a major factor, and they’ll have to focus on getting the ball out of their hands quickly with lots of dump-off passes to RBs and quick throws to the receivers.
