NFL DFS Showdown Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Thursday Night Football
What is your favorite game-script build and why?
squirrelpatrol: The Bengals pass offense has been excellent over the past five weeks, with Joe Burrow passing for at least 2 TDs in each game (12 total), but I think they run into trouble here. The Ravens have allowed the fewest yards per reception (9.2) and receiving TDs per game (0.7) in the NFL. I see the Ravens winning this one behind the arm of Lamar Jackson, the leg of Justin Tucker, and their defense keeping Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase in check.
headChopper: Lots of ways this game can go, and I will have multiple game-script builds among my lineups. The one that I favor slightly more than the others right now is a defensive struggle. Two good defenses. One facing a beat-up offense with WRs being hurt, and the other offense seems to generally be content with running the ball, eating the clock, and not making mistakes. Could lead to a sluggish game.
kmurray03: I think some sparks fly tonight. We saw the Bengals give up some points to the Texans last week, and both offenses have done a great job at moving the ball and hitting big plays this season. I like the over, and I like the shootout game-script builds.
TJ Zwarych: Both offenses have looked really strong lately, but it may be tough to continue tonight. While I don’t think it will be super high scoring, because divisional, primetime matchups rarely are, I still think both teams will be able to accumulate yards and control the ball. I’ll be overweight on Lamar Jackson, Keaton Mitchell, and the entire Bengals passing offense, thinking they likely will have to come from behind.
