When I write about my personal life, I tend to get so many more interactions from RG members on Discord and Twitter. I thought I’d open this week’s article with a little update.

Do you remember the scene in Anchorman when Ron Burgundy leans back in his chair with a beer and says, “Boy that escalated quickly”?

That’s how my life feels at the moment. I had only heard horror stories about dating at this age (shoutout to John Daigle and many others), so I was happy to enjoy life as a single dad who spent his free time watching sports and golfing. In a few short months, I went from swearing off any romantic involvement to being ready to move in with my lovely lady friend. If you had told me six months ago where I’d be now, I would have run for the hills. It’s wild how life works, but I couldn’t be happier.

So with the very little free time I expect to have during the NBA and NFL overlap in the next couple of months, I’m hoping to get my house ready to sell. I have never sold a house and I’m not particularly handy, so I’ll take all the advice I can get. If you have any tips on finding a realtor, sprucing up the house, or anything else, please hit the DMs. I will trade you for fantasy sports advice. And since I’m making requests, I also wouldn’t mind winning a DFS tournament or two this weekend. Just throwing that out there.

NFL DFS Top Picks & Plays: Noto’s Key Personnel for Week 10

We’ve had quite the 3-week stretch of NFL DFS slates. We had extremely tight pricing in Week 8, we had more value than we knew what to do with in Week 9, and now we are back to a tightly-priced slate in Week 10. We have no shortage of great spend-up options at every position, but it’s tricky making room for those players without an obvious punt play or 2. I am writing this after all of the Friday news has settled, and there’s still not much value to choose from. I suppose that could change by Sunday morning, but I currently find myself spending down at quarterback and using a lot of 2-TE lineups on DraftKings.

Aaron Rodgers: $5,700 DK / $7,100 FD

You know it’s a strange slate when I have Aaron Rodgers tagged in the year 2024. I know the Jets have some awful losses this season, but I am buying their stock right now. If they can pick up a win this week, they could realistically find themselves on a 7-game winning streak heading into their Week 17 matchup against the Bills. Rodgers doesn’t have any rushing upside at this stage of his career but has a couple of the best wide receivers in football. With Allen Lazard out and Mike Williams traded, he has obvious stacking mates in Garrett Wilson and Davante Adams. This week, he plays indoors against the Cardinals, who are 30th in pressure rate and 28th in EPA against the pass.
