I hope everyone had a solid Week 11. I typically build 3-5 lineups each week and have had a lot of middling weeks this season. I decided to build 2 lineups last week and had my second-best week of the season. I’m hoping to keep it going in Week 12 so I can have some extra DFS bucks to play with on the Thanksgiving slate. And if that slate goes well, I’ll have extra real-life bucks for Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. In that scenario, everyone wins. I win, my friends and family win, and the retailers win. Win, win, win.

This is the time of year when I am overwhelmed with content. It’s already Friday evening and I am running out of juice, so I had ChatGPT cook me up an introduction for this slate:

NFL DFS Top Picks & Plays: Noto’s Key Personnel for Week 12

After weeks of tight pricing on DraftKings, the pricing certainly feels a lot softer in Week 12. Some of that has to do with a lack of elite wide receivers on the slate, but even the good players at the other positions are a tad cheaper than we’ve seen in recent weeks. This makes building lineups a little easier. On FanDuel, I want to get as much exposure to the Sunday Night Football game (Eagles-Rams) as possible. That game should be competitive and highly scoring.

EXPERT PLAY TAGS

Anthony Richardson: $5,600 DK / $7,500 FD

When there’s a chalk play at any position, I usually consider the paths to success and the paths to failure. We have seen Anthony Richardson fail in several similar spots this season. We have also seen him top 27 fantasy points two times. He’s the rare chalk play that I would fade in cash games and be overweight on in tournaments. Typically, it’s the opposite. A matchup against the Lions is far from ideal. Detroit is 1st in EPA against the pass and 7th in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks. However, we know the Lions are going to put up points, and A-Rich provides a ton of rushing upside. Ultimately, the price point is too cheap for a quarterback with 25+ fantasy point upside.
