Noto's NFL DFS Key Personnel: Week 3
A daily fantasy sports OG, Notorious has been roaming the DFS streets ever since they were invented. So, who better to walk you through all of the key NFL DFS positions each week? Noto has racked up multiple live final seats and several six-figure tournament wins in his DFS career, and he will mix it up in all different types of contests. In his Key Personnel article, he will walk you through his favorite NFL DFS picks, ways to pivot away from the chalk, and overall strategy for the upcoming slate.
This question usually gets asked to the winning team after the Super Bowl, but I’ll change it up a bit for the purpose of this article…

“I’m going to Disneyland!”
My girlfriend’s family has had a trip planned to Disneyland for a long time. We have essentially been inseparable since we met, so they invited us to join them at the last minute. The prices for flights weren’t too bad, and they had plenty of room for us in their AirBnB. My little man has been asking to go on a trip all summer, so why not? As I like to say, you only YOLO once. It’s not exactly the best time, given the fact that it’s Week 3 of the NFL season, and I have a ton of content to get out, but it’s a great opportunity to bond with her family and for them to get to know my little one better.
So… we are flying out to Disneyland early Thursday morning (I am writing this introduction on the plane) and flying back on Saturday morning. My goal is to have this article done by the time we land in California. There are still a lot of injuries that need to be monitored throughout the week, but I already have a good idea of who will be in my core this week. Since this article will be out a little earlier than usual, I’ll circle back on Saturday night and give an update after we have all of the injury news.

NFL DFS Top Picks & Plays: Noto’s Key Personnel for Week 3
We have a very interesting slate in Week 3. I expect most of the ownership to gravitate to a few games in particular. There are unique ways to get exposure to those games and there are some other games that are flying under the radar. Some of the best games are in the afternoon, so don’t go counting your winnings after the early games are over.
Everyone has their own process. Even though I build most of my lineups by hand, I still spend most of my time in LineupHQ. In my opinion, it is the best NFL lineup optimizer out there. Even if you are a hand builder, you can play around with different builds, browse through projections, and see who all of our experts like with their tags and blurbs. I also make sure to check the NFL weather report by Kevin Roth on Sunday mornings.
Quarterback
EXPERT PLAY TAGS
Kyler Murray: $6,900 DK / $8,300 FD
There’s still time for me to add another quarterback tag, but Kyler Murray is far and away my favorite play at the position. He looks as good as ever and has more weapons now than at any other point in his career. He put up 28 fantasy points (DK scoring) on the Rams last week in a game that was essentially over at halftime. He continues to use his speed to scramble out of the pocket, and either takes shots downfield or makes plays with his legs. He only has 10 rushing attempts this season, but he’s turned those into 116 yards. The Lions can put pressure on the quarterback, which could turn into a positive for Murray’s scrambling. It’s also a great matchup on paper, as Detroit is 24th in EPA against the pass and 24th in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks through the first 2 games of the season.
