A daily fantasy sports OG, Notorious has been roaming the DFS streets ever since they were invented. So, who better to walk you through all of the key NFL DFS positions each week? Noto has racked up multiple live final seats and several six-figure tournament wins in his DFS career, and he will mix it up in all different types of contests. In his Key Personnel article, he will walk you through his favorite NFL DFS picks, ways to pivot away from the chalk, and overall strategy for the upcoming slate.

We are back to break down the 3-game Sunday slate. If you are reading this after the Saturday slate has concluded, I hope it treated you well. Halfway through writing this article, the Bills-Steelers game has been postponed to Monday.

The weather on Monday in Buffalo doesn’t look all that great, but we’ll lean on Kevin Roth’s forecast when it comes to all things weather.

Let’s dive into the positional breakdown for the 3-game slate.

Quarterback

EXPERT PLAY TAG

Dak Prescott: $7,600 DK / $8,600 FD
Matthew Stafford: $6,500 DK / $7,400 FD

If you can find the salary, Dak Prescott deserves to be considered the top quarterback play of the slate. The Cowboys turned into one of the highest pass rate above expectation offenses in the second half of the season, and Dak scored at least 24 fantasy points in 8 of his last 12 games. While he doesn’t have a huge rushing floor, he tends to scramble a lot to make plays downfield in the passing game. With this being the playoffs, we could see even more of that. He’s been unstoppable at home (averaging 26.8 fantasy points) and faces the Packers, who are 26th in DVOA against the pass.

Matthew Stafford and the Rams are the popular underdog pick of the week. I haven’t talked to anyone who has bet on the Lions. It’s hard to argue with the thinking, as the Rams have been in great form when they’ve had all of their players in the lineup. Stafford has always been an excellent quarterback, and he has some of the best weapons in the NFL. A matchup against the Lions sets up as well as any on the slate, as Detroit is 25th in dropback EPA and 1st in DVOA against the run. The Lions can get pressure, but their secondary is very beatable. We know Stafford isn’t afraid to stand in the pocket and take hits. This is a revenge game, it’s indoors, and the matchup could lead to a pass-heavy game plan.
