Matt Ryan – Ryan and the Falcons had two weeks to figure out how to keep him upright in the pocket. The combination of the bye week, the matchup against the Buccaneers’ terrible pass defense, and Ryan’s cheap price tag on DK was just too good for me to pass up in cash games this week. It also didn’t hurt that Julio Jones (spoiler alert: he’s featured below) was back to being 100% healthy.

LeSean McCoy – McCoy was a no-brainer at RB this week. His price continues to drop despite a heavy workload in each of his last four games. His offensive line is as healthy as they have been all season and grade out as one of the best run-blocking lines in the NFL. I love the matchup against the Panthers.

Ronnie Hillman – There were few RBs that I really loved this week on DK. I didn’t want to pay up for Matt Forte or DeMarco Murray, which led me to the mid-range options. Hillman has been terrific since the Montee Ball injury and once it was announced that Ball was expected to miss another game, I liked Hillman at only $6,100 against the Raiders.

Julio Jones – Jones put up a big game against the Buccaneers earlier in the season. Granted, it was with Roddy White out, but it’s still of note. Plus, the Buccaneers are without their top cornerback this week. I expect the Falcons passing game to have a lot of success, hopefully with Jones seeing a lot of that action.

Brandon Marshall – Marshall is one of those players that always scares me in cash games. He sees a lot of targets, but he tends to be a boom-or-bust type option. I like his chances to boom this week, as the Bears may be forced to air it out against the Packers in a game that has the highest total of the week.

Kelvin Benjamin – Benjamin at $4,200 against the awful corners of the Eagles? Come on DK! Benjamin will likely be the most popular player taken this week and I wasn’t going to miss out. Plus, the Panthers may need to put up some points to keep up with the Eagles.

Jimmy Graham – I had Julius Thomas locked in as my tight end until it was announced that Patrick Willis would be out for this week’s game. Willis is one of the best covering LBs in the NFL and without him in the lineup, Graham should have a field day against the Niners at home.

Jamaal Charles – I went with talent over matchup in this one. Charles is likely going to have a low percentage of ownership this week, but I expect him to see 20-25 touches with work on the ground and catching the ball out of the backfield. It’s a tough matchup against the Bills, but I pounced on the $6,400 price tag.

Lions D/ST – Typically I like to narrow down my three favorite defenses at different price points and then target the one that best fit my lineup. This week I liked the Cardinals ($3,400), the Seahawks ($3,000), and the Lions ($2,900). A couple of Sunday morning switches left me with $2,900 left to spend, which meant the Lions would be the team of choice this week.
