NFL Lineup Walkthrough - Week 12

Notorious gives a detailed walkthrough of how he built his main cash-game lineup on DraftKings for NFL Week 12. He’ll offer his entire lineup and explain the thought process behind each pick.

Week 12 NFL DraftKings Lineup

week12n

Andrew Luck – Luck was an easy selection for me this week. He leads the NFL in passing yards and has shown that he has a floor of around 300 yards and 2 TDs. He drew a favorable matchup against the Jaguars at home. As I’m typing, Luck just had a sack-fumble. Hopefully the Jaguars can get a little lead here in the early going.

LeSean McCoy – I just can’t quit this guy. According to ProFootballFocus, he has one of the best run-blocking lines in the NFL. He also faces a Titans defense that gave up over 200 yards to Le’Veon Bell last week. If this isn’t the week for a breakout, I’m not sure if it’s coming this season. While I’m typing, Sproles just vultured another TD (TILT!!!).

Rashad Jennings

Rashad Jennings – Jennings is a workhorse back that appears to be 100% back from his injury. I would much rather target a clear feature back than the likes of Isaiah Crowell (who I expect to be very popular this week). The Cowboys are giving up a generous 4.4 YPC and this game is expected to stay close.

Josh Gordon – This is a pick that makes me nervous. Once Jay Glazer reported that he would have no restrictions, I knew that I wanted to get some exposure to him against the Falcons in what could turn into a shootout. The price was more than reasonable for a player with his type of upside.

Keenan Allen – If you read any of my NFL content this week, then you know that I was extremely high on Allen. My love for Allen never faded throughout the week. He’s seeing double-digit targets over the last few weeks and draws a nice matchup against the Rams. His price of $4,900 was too good for me to pass up.

Percy Harvin – This pick is still in the air, as there are currently three options that I’m looking at in the Monday night games. Kenny Stills and Marques Colston are both in a good spot against the Ravens who are good against the run and good at defending TEs. I’ll likely stick it out with Harvin though as he has been a target monster since coming over to the Jets.

Martellus Bennett – Bennett is a top-5 TE in the NFL most weeks and he was priced as a top-15 TE this week on DraftKings. This is a classic buy-low situation on a talented player that has had a few down weeks. He has a favorable matchup against the Buccaneers.

C.J. Anderson – I have a feeling that I’ll be one of the few that takes Anderson this week, but again, I’m all about the workhorse running backs. Anderson should play almost all of the snaps this week and he’ll be a big part of the passing game. He should also see any and all goal-line work. We’ll see if I made the right decision with Anderson here shortly.

Niners D/ST – It came down to the Bills, Eagles, and Niners this week. With DK’s site crash, I had no time to get some exposure to all three defenses, so it looks like I’m all in on the Niners, who face Robert Griffin III this week at home.
