NFL Lineup Walkthrough - Week 6
Notorious gives a detailed walkthrough of how he built his main cash-game lineup on DraftKings for NFL Week 6. He’ll offer his entire lineup and explain the thought process behind each pick.
This week was all about which combination of RBs you wanted to roll out there. With numerous injuries to starters, there were a ton of options at running back. While I had originally been targeting the higher-priced RBs, I couldn’t pass up all of the value out there.
Week 6 NFL DraftKings Lineup
Matt Ryan – At QB it came down to either Peyton Manning or Matt Ryan. It was hard to go against Manning, but I liked the discount that Ryan gave me. He’s played well in the Georgia Dome throughout his career, and this game had the highest total of the week.
Matt Forte – As mentioned above, there was a ton of value at RB this week. All of that value left a lot of money on the table. I chose to spend it on the player with arguably the highest floor of any non-QB in a terrific matchup against the soft Falcons run defense.
Joique Bell – Bell passed the concussion protocol and was cleared to play. Meanwhile, Reggie Bush was ruled out. Bell was an easy choice at only $3,700.
Golden Tate – Tate has been terrific in each of the last two weeks and has had an extremely high floor in this Lions offense. With Calvin Johnson out, I expect him to put up WR1-type of numbers.
Wes Welker – Welker has 18 targets over the last two weeks and is trending in the right direction. I liked his price and his matchup against the weak secondary of the Jets.
Roddy White – I wanted as much exposure to this game as possible. It had the highest total of the week and I liked the pairing with Ryan.
Rob Gronkowski – Gronk’s snap counts continue to go up. When he’s healthy he’s one of the best TE’s in the NFL. I had to take advantage of the cheap price tag.
Bishop Sankey – Sankey should be the primary running back this week after Shonn Greene was ruled out. He has a ton of talent, and I expect this to be his breakthrough game. He draws a great matchup against the Jaguars.
Tennessee Titans – This pick was fairly easy. The Jaguars have given up more fantasy points to opposing defenses than any other team. I’ll keep taking defenses against them.
Best of luck this week Grinders!
