NFL Lineup Walkthrough - Week 7
Notorious gives a detailed walkthrough of how he built his main cash-game lineup on DraftKings for NFL Week 7. He’ll offer his entire lineup and explain the thought process behind each pick.
What’s up Grinders? It’s always interesting writing this column each week as the games are just starting and I still have extremely high hopes for my lineups. Obviously, I won’t know how it pans out until later in the day, but below is my main cash-game lineup with my reasoning behind each pick.
Week 7 NFL DraftKings Lineup

Colin Kaepernick – I had three QBs that were high on my list this week on DK. I liked Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, and Colin Kaepernick. In the end, I felt that Kaepernick offered the best value of the three, as the Packers and Seahawks could both get up big early and lean heavily on their running game. I typically don’t like to chase points after a big week, but Kaepernick’s cheap price tag and his ability to run the ball were a combination too good to pass up this week
Le’Veon Bell – Bell was one of my favorite plays early in the week and nothing changed to take me off of him. He has a solid matchup against the Texans and has compiled over 100 yards from scrimmage in every game this season. His involvement in the passing game also helps on a full-PPR site.

Jamaal Charles – This was all about his cheap price tag. Charles is one of the best RBs in the NFL and was almost $3,000 cheaper than DeMarco Murray. He should be fully rested after a bye week and will hopefully see around 20-25 touches against the Chargers.
Brandon Marshall – Marshall complained about not getting the ball and then was heavily targeted last week against the Falcons. I expect another heavy number of targets to come his way against the Dolphins, and the $6,300 price tag was more than reasonable.
Golden Tate – With Johnson out, Tate is the #1 receiver against one of the worst secondaries in the NFL. He also sees double-digit targets each and every week. He was an easy choice in cash games.
Wes (GULP) Welker – If you read this column last week then you know that Welker burned me with only one catch for eight yards against the Jets. I tried my best to stay away, but couldn’t resist giving him another shot at only $3,700. I’m expecting Manning to get him involved early and often.

Jordan Cameron – Cameron and Donnell were my two favorite TEs this week. Since I didn’t go with Ben Tate, I wanted to get some exposure to the Browns offense. Cue Mr. Cameron.
Andre Ellington – Ellington has a terrific matchup against the Raiders, who have been awful against the run. He’s also a big weapon catching the ball out of the backfield. He should see 20+ touches in a favorable matchup.
Seahawks D/ST – Really wanted to take the Bills defense here, but I was $100 short and like the rest of my squad. Hoping for a bounce back game from the ‘Legion of Boom.’
