Week 2 of Sunday Night Football will feature the Indianapolis Colts against the Kansas City Chiefs, teams that had polar opposite experiences in Week 1.

Daniel Jones and the Colts were blown out by the Ravens at home, losing by 18 points in a game that never even felt that close. Kansas City, meanwhile, dominated Denver at Arrowhead Stadium, commanding the game from start to finish.

Kickoff is set for 8:20 pm ET on NBC and Peacock.

The NFL odds have the Chiefs as 6.5-point home favorites. The total is set at over/under 45.5 points.

Below, you can find three of my favorite player props for Colts vs. Chiefs!

Best NFL Player Props for Colts vs. Chiefs

Here are my top player prop bets, with kickoff scheduled for 8:20 PM ET on Sunday, September 20th:

Travis Kelce UNDER 42.5 Receiving Yards (-115, BetMGM)

Kelce led the Chiefs with 71 receiving yards in their season opener, but 59 of those yards came on a broken defensive play that enabled Kelce to find a lot of room to run after the catch. He ended Week 1 with a meager 5.8 aDOT, which doesn’t project much upside for future games.

Patrick Mahomes looked very uncomfortable in his first game back off of major knee surgery. Don’t expect another big day from Kelce.

Kenneth Walker III OVER 18.5 Rush Attempts (-103, DraftKings)

One of the most appealing elements of coming to Kansas City for Walker was having the opportunity to be a feature back. Walker didn’t disappoint in Week 1, toting the rock 23 times for 173 rushing yards on the ground. He could have had an even bigger day, but the coaching staff rarely used him late in the game after Kansas City jumped out to a big lead in the 3rd quarter.

Head coach Andy Reid has been vocal about not wanting to throw the ball too much while Mahomes is still adjusting back to live game speed. Walker is likely to see a big workload on the ground once again in Week 2.

Tyquan Thornton UNDER 1.5 Receptions (-175, DraftKings)

Add this pick with 1 click!PLACE THIS BET ONDRAFTKINGS

Thornton is a deep-ball specialist for the Chiefs, which means he might not see a lot of work early in 2026 while Patrick Mahomes struggles to shake off the rust in his return from knee surgery. Mahomes struggled throwing the ball downfield against the Broncos, going 0 for 4 on throws more than 10 yards past the line of scrimmage.

There is value on the under.
