Week 12 of Sunday Night Football will feature Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers against Matthew Stafford and the Rams. Kickoff is set for 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.

Tampa Bay enters play having dropped both of their last two games following their Week 9 bye. This is a roster that has been ravaged by injuries this season – something that figures to be relevant again this evening with star CB Jamel Dean ruled out. The Buccaneers have had their 2 worst defensive games of the season with Dean on the sidelines.

Meanwhile, the Rams haven’t lost since Week 5. During their winning streak, they have knocked off the Ravens, 49ers, and Seahawks. However, they will also be trying to navigate the injury bug tonight after placing 3 starters on injured reserve this past week.

Looking at the NFL Odds for this contest, the market is still expecting a Rams victory, with Los Angeles priced as 6.5-point favorites as of this writing.

Best NFL Player Props for Buccaneers vs. Rams

Here are my top player prop bets, with kickoff scheduled for 8:20 PM ET on Sunday, November 23rd:

Matthew Stafford OVER 257.5 Passing Yards (-113, DraftKings)

CB Jamel Dean will not play tonight for the Buccaneers. Dean exited early with an injury in Week 4 after playing only 14 snaps, then he was forced to miss the team’s Week 5 game against Seattle. Tampa Bay allowed 31 points in both of those matchups. Sam Darnold threw for 341 yards against them. In Week 11, Dean exited after playing only 2 snaps. Tampa Bay allowed 44 points to the Bills and 317 passing yards to Josh Allen.

Stafford has 5 games this season with 280+ passing yards. He should have every opportunity to rack up yards this evening, assuming a somewhat competitive game script that keeps the Rams passing the ball throughout the game.

Terrance Ferguson OVER 20.5 Receiving Yards (-110, BetMGM)

TE Tyler Higbee was placed on injured reserve after exiting Week 11 early with an injury. After Higbee departed, backup TE Colby Parkinson scored a touchdown, signaling to some that he may be in for a larger role in the team’s passing game going forward.

However, it’s far more likely that we see rookie TE Ferguson earn a bigger role. Parkinson has been more of a blocking tight end throughout his career, whereas Ferguson is highly regarded as a pass catcher.

Ferguson has also impressed with his limited opportunities this season – notably, posting 4 games with 21+ receiving yards in the 4 games in which he’s received at least 1 target. He should absolutely have opportunities to clear this number on Sunday Night Football.

Terrance Ferguson OVER 1.5 Receptions (-130, FanDuel)

Add this pick with 1 click!PLACE THIS BET ONFANDUEL

Ferguson didn’t play a large role in the team’s Week 11 win over the Seahawks, but it’s somewhat understandable for a rookie to see a slightly reduced role in a pivotal divisional matchup, especially when he hasn’t consistently played extended snaps in 2025.

That being said, it would be more than a little bit surprising to see Ferguson kept under wraps this evening. The Buccaneers have been solid defending tight ends this season, but Ferguson is capable of catching at least a couple of passes. In his final season at Oregon, he tied the school’s single-season record for receptions. He should see 3+ targets.
