Terrance Ferguson OVER 1.5 Receptions (-150, bet365)
BET365The Rams notably decided against bringing in a proven WR3 behind Puka Nacua and Davante Adams heading into this season. A significant reason for that is likely the emergence of Ferguson as a weapon in the passing game. The Rams have been utilizing Ferguson all over formations during training camp and joint practices, earning him more quick reception opportunities against linebackers.
Nacua missed considerable time during the last few weeks with a core injury. Adams plays more on the outside as a deep threat. Ferguson should be the favorite to rank 3rd in receptions on this Rams offense — we might not see this low of a number available at any point the rest of the season.
Christian McCaffrey UNDER 16.5 Rush Attempts (-130, FanDuel)
FANDUELThere has been a clear and obvious organizational focus on finding ways to monitor the volume for McCaffrey this season. San Francisco’s star running back had a career-high 311 carries in the regular season last year, and he has already dealt with “general soreness” and “tightness” that caused him to miss some time during practice in August.
San Francisco’s coaching staff has spoken highly of rookie running back Kaelon Black throughout the offseason. They have also alluded to using Deebo Samuel out of the backfield in certain situations.
McCaffrey seems likely to have his carries monitored in this game, with the team prioritizing his availability on passing downs.
Kamren Kinchens OVER 0.5 Interceptions (+700, Caesars)
Put simply, Kinchens is a ball hawk. He has 6 interceptions in his first 2 seasons with the Rams, after recording 11 interceptions in his final 2 seasons of college ball at Miami.
The Rams have one of the league’s most dominant pass rushes, which should lead to a healthy amount of tipped balls and rushed throws from opposing quarterbacks this season. If looking for a longshot defensive prop for Thursday Night Football, Kinchens should be around the ball enough to make this a fun sweat.
