Below, you can find three of my favorite player props for Buccaneers vs. Cowboys!
Best NFL Player Props for Buccaneers vs. Cowboys
Here are my top player prop bets, with kickoff scheduled for 8:15 PM ET on Thursday, October 8th:
- Jalon Daniels Over/Under 17.5 Completions
- Bucky Irving Over/Under 52.5 Rushing Yards
- George Pickens Over/Under 64.5 Receiving Yards
Jalon Daniels OVER 17.5 Completions (-130, FanDuel)
Daniels had only 148 passing yards in his NFL debut against the Packers, but he executed the routine throws and didn’t look overwhelmed running the Tampa Bay offense.
Every quarterback to face the Cowboys defense in 2026 has posted a season high in EPA/play against their injury-plagued secondary unit. Every quarterback who has played a full game against Dallas this season has posted a 55% success rate or better through the air.
Daniels had the 2nd-lowest aDOT of any quarterback in Week 4, which means he was attempting a lot of conservative throws near the line of scrimmage. He should have little trouble flirting with 20 completions in this matchup.
Bucky Irving OVER 52.5 Rushing Yards (-106, Novig)
Irving is clearly the lead running back for Tampa Bay. Through 4 weeks, Irving has 57.7% of the team’s rush attempts, which ranks 15th among NFL running backs. In Week 4, Irving had 16 of Tampa Bay’s 22 rush attempts (72.7%) that went to the running back position. Offensive coordinator Zac Robinson told the FOX broadcast team that he was hoping to get Irving 20 touches at a minimum against Green Bay.
The Cowboys run defense ranks 22nd in success rate and 19th in EPA/play this season. They have the 8th-lowest stuff% in the league. They rank 22nd in yards allowed before contact and 22nd in yards allowed after contact.
This is a good matchup for Irving on the ground assuming the Buccaneers can keep the game script somewhat competitive.
George Pickens UNDER 64.5 Receiving Yards (-110, DraftKings)
Pickens has cleared this number in both of his last 2 games, but he only had 3 targets in the team’s Week 4 win over the Texans. If not for a 53-yard reception, Pickens’ final line looks much different.
Tampa Bay is 0-4 SU this season, but their pass defense ranks 13th in EPA/play and 10th in success rate. This is a deceptively lukewarm matchup for Pickens, who has been a clear second option behind CeeDee Lamb in the Cowboys passing attack early in 2026.
