Dak Prescott MORE/LESS 299.5 Pass Yards (DEMON)

The concern for this play is that the Cowboys crush the Giants and deflate the ball. The problem with that mindset is that it ignores that the Cowboys are in a must-win spot at 1-2. RotoGrinders has Dak Prescott projected for over 38 pass attempts, despite them being 6.0-point favorites. It’s probably because the Cowboys can’t afford to risk losing a lead and will likely attempt to build up a blowout through the air, as they’ve had little reason to trust their rushing attack. For this, RotoGrinders has Prescott projected for 284.1 passing yards.

Malik Nabers MORE/LESS 89.5 Receiving Yards (DEMON)

Playing from behind, RotoGrinders has Malik Nabers projected for 10.7 targets. This isn’t crazy, as we’ve seen Nabers get 7, 18, and 12 targets in each of his first 3 games. With or without a lead, the Giants are running their offense pretty transparently through Nabers. RotoGrinders has Nabers projected for 80.9 receiving yards, which is pretty conservative when you consider his volume and the Cowboys pass defense not being very impressive to start the season.

Devin Singletary MORE/LESS 61.5 Rush Yards

The offense running through Nabers and the prospects of a blowout in the Cowboys favor is terrible news for Devin Singletary. We’ve seen Singletary get 16 carries in each of the last 2 weeks, but those were competitive games. He only rushed 10 times in Week 1 when the Giants got blown out by the Vikings. Week 4 should resemble Week 1 far more than Weeks 2 or 3. This is a tight squeeze, as RotoGrinders has Singletary projected for 64.2 rushing yards, and the Cowboys defense has been really porous to start the season, but we shouldn’t expect Singletary to get any meaningful volume. In fact, we should have his impact on the game diminishing fairly early.
