NFL Thanksgiving Day Weather Report: Betting and Fantasy Football Impact

brock-purdy-800x480

Our Thanksgiving Day forecast is helped by (as always) two indoor games in Dallas and Detroit, plus quiet weather in Seattle for our third game.

This NFL weather article will highlight any extreme temperatures, precipitation, and most importantly, high winds that we could see across the NFL landscape this week.

If a game isn’t specifically listed in this week’s report, that means the weather is quiet enough for it not to be an issue in that particular game.

NFL Thanksgiving Day Weather Report & Forecast

As always, it’s best to stay up to date with the very latest forecasts, so follow me on Twitter @KevinRothWx and keep an eye on my NFL weather page.

A reminder that while temperature and rain/snow can impact a game, the greatest impact by far comes from high-wind games, so I’ll be looking to highlight those spots when possible.

Thanksgiving Day Games

Green Bay Packers at Detroit Lions – Game indoors.

Washington Commanders at Dallas Cowboys – Game indoors.

San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks – It’s cool, with temps in the 40s, but it looks dry with winds under 10mph, so I don’t expect any real impact here.

Random Friday Game

Miami Dolphins at New York Jets – Dry with winds around 10mph. Temps in the mid-40s are cool but not cold enough to be impactful.

Weather Impact on Fantasy & Betting

Our Thanksgiving and Friday games bring us two indoor games and two quiet weather games, so I don’t see an impact weather-wise.

In case things change, I’ll be posting radar GIFs to Twitter as we get closer to kickoff, @KevinRothWx on Twitter.
