Weather Report and Forecast for NFL Week 12

Colts QB Jones

Week 12 in the NFL is bringing us some blessedly quiet weather, with no wind, rain, or extreme temperatures anywhere to be found.

This NFL weather report will highlight any extreme temperatures, precipitation, and most importantly, high winds that we could see across the NFL landscape this week. If a game isn’t specifically listed in this week’s report, that means the weather is quiet enough for it not to be an issue in that particular game.

NFL Week 12 Weather Report and Forecast

As always, it’s best to stay up to date with the very latest forecasts, so follow me on Twitter/X @KevinRothWx and keep an eye on my main weather page. A reminder that while temperature and rain/snow can impact a game, the greatest impact by far comes from high wind, so I’ll be looking to highlight those spots when possible.

Thursday Night Football, November 20th

Buffalo Bills @ Houston Texans – There’s a roof, which strangely enough is needed more to block out the heat than anything else (welcome to November in Houston!).

Sunday Main Slate, November 23rd

Indianapolis Colts @ Kansas City Chiefs – I usually write a manual forecast for the most impactful weather games, but since there’s no real weather in any game, I just picked the one I’m most interested to watch. The weather is great in KC, with temps in the 50s, no precipitation, and winds under 10 mph. The weather is similarly great for any games not listed here.

Sunday Night Football, November 23rd

Tampa Bay Bucs @ L.A. Rams – There’s a roof at SoFi; all good here.

Monday Night Football, November 24th

Carolina Panthers @ San Francisco 49ers – Temps in the 50s, no precipitation, winds around 5 mph. No worries.

How Will the Weather in Week 12 Affect Betting & Fantasy Football Picks?

This is one of the best weather weeks I’ve ever seen this late in the season. Part of that is the number of indoor games this week (7), and part of it is just simple luck of the draw with a quiet weather pattern taking hold. No weather impacts expected.

In case things change, I’ll be posting radar GIFs to Twitter/X as we get closer to kickoff.
