Weather Report and Forecast for NFL Week 9

Bills QB Allen

Week 9 in the NFL brings us another mostly quiet weather week, with just a few games where we’ll keep an eye out for a stray rain shower.

This NFL weather report will highlight any extreme temperatures, precipitation, and most importantly, high winds that we could see across the NFL landscape this week. If a game isn’t specifically listed in this week’s report, that means the weather is quiet enough for it not to be an issue in that particular game.

NFL Week 9 Weather Report and Forecast

As always, it’s best to stay up to date with the very latest forecasts, so follow me on Twitter/X @KevinRothWx and keep an eye on my main weather page. A reminder that while temperature and rain/snow can impact a game, the greatest impact by far comes from high wind, so I’ll be looking to highlight those spots when possible.

Thursday Night Football, October 30th

Baltimore Ravens @ Miami Dolphins – It’s a good time of year to be in Miami; the weather is nearly perfect with temps in the 70s, no rain, and the wind is around or under 10 mph.

Sunday Main Slate, November 2nd

Indianapolis Colts @ Pittsburgh Steelers – A stray shower is possible here, but rainfall coverage and rainfall totals look slim, so I’m not expecting any real impact.

Kansas City Chiefs @ Buffalo Bills – A brief rain shower is possible, but I’m not too concerned by what I’m seeing. Winds stay light, and while temps are chilly (40s), it’s not cold enough to impact play. Maybe it’s not perfect weather, but it’s far from a “weather game.”

Sunday Night Football, November 2nd

Seattle Seahawks @ Washington Commanders – It’s a little chilly, with temps in the 40s, but it’s not impactful. I don’t even consider temperature as a factor until temps are below freezing, and with light winds and no precip, I don’t expect any weather issues here.

Monday Night Football, November 3rd

Arizona Cardinals @ Dallas Cowboys – They’ve got a roof at Jerry’s World, so no issues here.

How Will the Weather in Week 9 Affect Betting & Fantasy Football Picks?

By and large I think weather will have essentially no impact on betting or fantasy football. The only game for now that has my attention is in Buffalo for the chance of a cold rain shower, but I think the odds are that even there the forecast will work out fine.

In case things change, I’ll be posting radar GIFs to Twitter/X as we get closer to kickoff.
