NHL DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Tuesday, February 20

Who is your favorite contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?

Moneyball16: Kevin Fiala – Not sure this exactly counts as a contrarian play, but he only has 2 points in his last 9 games. Despite that, the shots are still there, the analytics with the new top line have been fine, and Fiala has been unlucky this season. Both his personal shooting% and his on-ice shooting% have been uncharacteristically low this season compared to recent seasons. Tonight at home versus a horrible team like Columbus is a great situation to have a big night.

ezellmt: Filip Forsberg – The matchup isn’t great for Forsberg, but Vegas is on the second of a back-to-back while Nashville hasn’t played since Saturday. Forsberg always has 5+ SOG and multi-point upside and makes for a nice pivot from chalky players around his price range like Matthew Tkachuk.

Joda: Nico Hischier – Hischier has erupted three times in his last 6 games. In those 3 games, he has recorded 27.5, 28.8, and 36.8 DK points, hitting the 5+ SOG bonus in each of them. Hischier should spend the majority of his even-strength ice time against the always generous Ovechkin line.

Who is your top overall play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
