What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
TastefulTides: Single-entry and small-field GPPs are my preferred format. We should see some very overwhelming chalk on the main pieces from Tampa Bay. Their total is the highest on the board, and their prices seem quite soft (especially Nikita Kucherov). I’d be lying if I said I wouldn’t be playing Tampa today, but I will likely be doing an onslaught stack to hopefully differentiate my exposure to the chalkiest team on the slate.
boggslite: Large-field tournaments – I will be heavily targeting Tampa and Winnipeg, regardless of pOWN%. They have clear matchup advantages, and completely fading them is a risky proposition. I’ll look to get different by stacking secondary pieces of Tampa’s and Winnipeg’s top 6 forwards and finding some lesser-pOWN% value plays from other teams.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
