What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
TastefulTides: Single-entry and small-field GPPs are my preferred format. Vegas is the clear and obvious chalk today with an implied team total of almost 4 goals. The Hurricanes or the Blue Jackets would be next on my list if you want to fade the chalky Golden Knights. I do want to spend down at goalie. The Panthers love to shoot the puck, so it will likely be the Utah goalie for me in GPPs, but I wouldn’t mind Sam Montembeault either.
Joda: Large-field tournaments are my preferred format on this slate. I expect Vegas to command a large market share of ownership, but there are plenty of ways to go tonight. Montreal was battered by Philadelphia last night, and they have allowed 21 goals during their 4-game losing streak. Sebastian Aho and Seth Jarvis make for a nice 1-2 punch in tournaments. On the flip side, Sam Montembeault should see a plethora of shots against, and if the Canadiens are able to escape with a win, he figures to put up a massive fantasy night.
